What a fantastic place to take your kids to. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The rides at all the slides makes a lot of fun when you go from indoor to outdoor pools, heated or not. Winter or summer all in all a super alternative to hiking biking or sightseeing.

Put and take in Untertauern
Only 20 minutes drive from Flachau, you can rent all what you need for catching your lunch or dinner. "Staff will for a fee clean the fish for you and you can bring it home fresh or smoked, or even enjoy your catch in the beautiful park. June 2009 prices, 2,50 Euro pr.kg fish, gear and bait (bread).
We caught 22 fish in only 30 minutes. It had been raining for days and all the fish practically attacked the bait and the hooks. Beware it can be an expensive if you dont limit yourself, Nina".
Flyfishing is also possible at the 18 km. long Taurach river. More....

Up high on your holiday.
In just 7 minutes the cable-car takes you from the valley station (Türlwand) 1,700 m up to 2,700 m on the Dachstein Glacier.
Here you can experience a variety of sports and leisure activities as well as a relaxing atmosphere.

Salt Mines
